Angel Whispers – Fairness

Humans are the only species on the planet who evaluate fairness. But what does fairness mean? Some might say that fairness is getting compensation for hard work. I could confuse fairness with deservedness (tee hee). Does fairness mean equity or everyone receives equal treatment? Or is fairness is a lack of discrimination, where everyone gets the same opportunities? Is fairness playing by the rules, with a consequence for those who don’t?

Which definition of fairness you choose depends on your world view, values, and background. Do we have an obligation to help those who are less fortunate? Is it unfair for one person to contribute more than another? These are questions that researchers have tried to answer. Each person appears wired to their own unique perception of injustice.

Turns out, there is a measurable neurological response to perception of a lack of fairness. Studies revealed that even a minor infraction brings emotional pain and humiliation. Both can equal physical pain. Wiring of the brain suggests a link between fairness and happiness. Disgust and the protest response were seen in reaction to unfairness. Measurements were taken using magnetic resonance testing devices and demonstrated our complex emotional coding. Everyone will have their idea of fairness. Let’s examine this subject with a whisper:

The issue of fairness is often evaluated in life. One can experience strong reactions to insignificant daily occurrences. Most would be outside your control. Anytime a situation leaves you feeling disadvantaged, the natural reaction is disappointment. The sense of victimhood is toxic energy that can grow if not addressed. Trauma leaves the residual energy of mistreatment. Within the internal human systems around victim mentality, depression begins building.

Anytime you begin to feel disheartened by a world that is not fair, take notice. Awareness of these thoughts and emotions can lead to greater discernment from the direct channels to the Higher Self. Choose carefully where to invest your energy. Your own thoughts can place you as the target of emotions that inflict suffering. Self-imposed, defeating thoughts will influence a negative polarity flow connected to rejection. Loving compassion for yourself and others will direct the focus with positive flow.

Consider the possibility that when a person is treating you unfairly, they too have suffered. Getting pain out of their system requires another person to become their target. The energy of injustice trapped within is directed with an outward expression. Even if the situation is determined by nature, a government, or institution, it is time to pivot. Direct your energy within a circle of that which you control. To reach acceptance, find compassion for yourself and all others involved. Letting go is the product of acceptance.

Fairness is when everyone agrees to drop their agenda in favor of the entire group. It takes a developed character trait to set aside ego for the goal of fairness. Transformation is seen in the actions of a person who has integrated life lessons. From the elevated perspective, a person’s evolved self can be seem in their activities, emotions, and communication. Your incarnation was not a guarantee of fairness; rather, an opportunity to experience love in the face of injustice.

Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
