Angel Whispers – Human Adaptation

Humans experience psychological adaptation, sometimes with the help of their mothers (tee hee). Psychologists link adaptation to concepts of evolution as a trait every organism has in common. We naturally select ways to serve a specific function in our efforts to behave under our conditions. Scientists have determined that evolution appears random, without full awareness or consciousness. Survival produces mutations to create slightly different genes. One day we might all have pointed thumbs for easy texting (lol). Our brains have grown larger out of a need for better communication and for solving complex problems.

General adaptation takes three stages, which include alarm (fight or flight, racing heart, stress hormones), resistance (balancing the triggered response), and exhaustion (prolonged stress, undischarged energy around event). The latter is something many are experiencing today. With exhaustion come anxiety, depression, and fatigue. After prolonged exposure to stress, we go a little numb in the way we respond. A psychological adaptation refers to proclivity toward a behavior or thought pattern. Most adaptations are in response to a perceived need to survive. Fear of getting a virus, or spreading a virus, can lead to the behavior of wearing a mask. How are you adapting to the current conditions? Can humans adapt to more open lines of communication or a whisper from God, angels, guides, or spirit during times like this?

Humans have a strong need to return to stability after a painful event. When the stressful conditions remain the same for prolonged periods, people can attempt to revert to what they consider a normal way of being. Attempts to go back to a prior way of living when the threat still exists are like getting on a treadmill. The need for repetitive movement and for behavior that is grounding and centered becomes part of the adaption. When happiness can be achieved without the prior attachments to income, socializing, going places, or career status, people are more effective at remaining focused on current challenges.

An adaptive trait stands in contrast to a maladaptive trait or characteristic, which leaves one less prepared to deal with their environment and conditions. Desensitization involves a lack of perception and often leads to a poor response. Anything that fits under the term “conscious adaptation”, or any form of deliberate change, can be beneficial, with a positive impact to the future of human development. Adaptation in ways that are pleasurable and without creating further suffering leads to greater overall well-being of the body, mind, and spirit.

Universal similarities bond all humans, while the Earth and its inhabitants experience dramatic changes. Viewing change as a natural evolution brings neutrality to the perception of positive or negative conditions. Subtle changes in perception influence emotions and behaviors. Being overtly or forcibly positive can lead to incorrect or magical thinking. Optimism without bias is holding hope, confidence, and strength in the face of challenging situations. Humans have little control, other than to be the pilot of their own ship. Navigating dangerous waters requires adaptation to changing conditions aligned with core vibrations. Adaptations have determined the architecture of your own spirit, with inclinations emerging from a system of light that defines the soul.
