Angel Whispers – Reptilian Theory

A recent exchange with a client in great distress went like this on my end: “Let me get this straight. You believe you are being manipulated by an elite group of bloodthirsty, flesh-eating, extra-terrestrial, shape-shifting, reptilian humanoids who are out to gain control of the world by obtaining positions of power over people like you? What might possibly motivate you into alignment with this theory?”

A 2013 Public Policy Polling survey revealed that 12 million Americans believe in the Reptilian Theory. There are probably more today. According to psychologists, the belief in Reptilian Theory emerges as an explanation for unusual or disturbing symptoms and experiences. For example, episodes like hearing voices, a non-physical being confiding in you, random odors or music manifesting out of thin air, disturbing dreams, beliefs in attacks from dark forces, physical pain, emotional suffering, and sleep paralysis need some sort of explanation. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder driven by trauma can influence interpretation through theory engagement. Trauma can drive the search for answers to the question “What happened to me?” Who wants to accept they’re vulnerable to memory distortion, false beliefs, and nerve damage when they can believe instead that they’re being chosen by superior beings to fulfill a mission in life?

Reptilian Theory has been driven into the consciousness of humankind since the story of Adam and Eve, when the devil took the form of a reptile to force a change in human DNA. Despite my lack of any direct experience with this type of energy, I come across the theory often and remain open to further explorations by asking for a whisper on the subject.

Any theory that supports a belief can form unhealthy attachments to fear, thought forms, behavior, and the search for answers. The question around receiving guidance in any form can be a direct answer to the truth around such experiences. Does the information bring love and empowerment, or does it bring fear and victimhood? The latter is not anchored in divine love.

The story of Adam and Eve has been engrained in human consciousness. Like all stories passed down through the generations, it serves as a cautionary metaphor to the seduction of human vices. What lives in the shadow side of human energy is that which seeks light in order to awaken to the truth and purpose for incarnation. When there is no satisfactory explanation to one’s experiences, trauma can lead to trusting conspiracy theories as the most plausible answer to a complex problem. Theories embellished by ego easily influence the human mind.

Beliefs can become aligned with one’s experience, then they are part of the reality of existence. In this manner, it becomes something not easily dismissed. Theories embellished by ego easily influence the human mind and contribute to the process of learning and understanding through life’s lessons. Such a process helps one find distance from a belief that is defeating or removes one from their personal sovereignty. When love leads to greater understanding, the lesson is gleaned. This is the nature of transformation as part of the Earth realm of testing.

The dark energies provide the gift of giving humans a choice to push away from or be absorbed by the shadow, especially for seekers of the light.

Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!

“Conspiracy theories are really attractive. Figuring out patterns is one of the things that gets your brain to give you a nice dose of chemical reward, the little ping of dopamine and whatever else that keeps you smiling. As a result, your brain is pretty good at finding patterns, and at disregarding information that doesn’t fit. Which means it’s also pretty good at finding false patterns, and at confirmation bias, and a bunch of other things that can be fatal. Our brains are also really good at making us the center of a narrative, because it’s what we evolved for.”
