Have you ever believed someone was completely trustworthy, only to experience betrayal? I think I’m a pretty good judge of character, but have been proven wrong! (tee hee) This observation comes from the files of an intuitive reader. Recently, I was giving a reading for a CEO on an executive officer at their corporation. My take was that of a person who is trustworthy, honest, and with company success at the core of their motivation. A few weeks later, that person tried to oust the CEO/Founder and take over the company. (oops)
As I sat with my own bewilderment, I asked the question, ”How could that be?” I immediately heard the answer in a whisper. Your reading did not extend beyond the distortion field surrounding this individual. This person believed they were all three: honest, trustworthy, and acting in the best interest in the company. I was receiving a gift, which was the aha! moment around an inaccurate reading.
I’ve seen this happen to the best. A world-class psychic who draws a million dollars per appearance once told me my brother was deceased. I found him a few years later very much alive. I often wondered how they could have missed with all that talent. Now I know. My inquiry today is around how to move beyond the distortions for greater accuracy. Not only for professional reasons, but for personal reasons I would like to become a better judge of character. It’s time for a whisper on the distortion field:
The mind is a powerful generator of energy. Input of a strong belief gives an expansive output into the auric field. Human mental output creates energy that extends well beyond the individual into the Universe. When your energy extends to cross streams with another, distortions can gain strength. Combining vibrations in such a way increases the energy of karma and ego.
Distortion field occurs when the ego mind justifies a thought, belief, or action. Once upheld as righteous, just, or reasonable, a state of being can move away from core alignment. A person can easily claim a non-truth, which creates cognitive distortions. The pattern of thoughts influences a viewpoint of an inaccurate reality. Such a pattern is usually negative.
Habitual errors in thinking increase anxiety and depression, causing issues in relationships. The first relationship that experiences complications is the one with yourself. Emphasizing a negative bias can become a coping mechanism. Experiencing long-term stress can lead to the development of an evolutionary survival method. Awareness of adapted thinking is the first step toward healthy mental processes. Assess the truth with factual information, then process as an observer without bias. Most distortions begin with a single affirmation like “I am always late” or “I have terrible luck”. Don’t insist on creating a distortion through negative affirmations.
As far as reading a person surround by a distortion field, there are considerations. Distortions are energy leaks. The leak represents an opening into the field. The truth always illuminates. Follow the light, which is not the strongest energy found in a distortion. Love is separate from the lower vibrations of negative patterns. You will find an energy that will voice the truth beyond the protective barrier of a distortion. The energy has a name called the soul.
