The Lower Astral Plane is the highway into and out of the physical body. Prior to birth and upon death, we will journey through this dimension to reach our destination. Astral travel is a term used to describe the separation of consciousness from the physical body, or an out-of-body experience. Some have developed their gifts to explore other dimensions by creating an intentional journey into the unknown regions of the non-physical dimensions.
What about those who experience astral projection without intention? What are the conditions that would create consciousness leaving the body? A traumatic experience would be one answer to that question. During a trauma, people can separate from their physical body to escape the pain, to experience twilight learning, for safety reasons, and to protect the human psyche.
Some could argue that all astral projection is involuntary, dependent on something that triggers the event. Near-death experiences are a form of astral projection that cannot be explained or verified by scientific measures. The ancient culture had different names for astral travel, such as ‘Dream Body’, the Taoist ‘Diamond Body’, or the Hindu ‘Body of Bliss’. Let’s get a whisper on subtle bodies and involuntary astral travel:
The energy body goes through spiritual training by separating from the physical body. Like a small taste of going home or the touch of something familiar, consciousness connects to the divine realms through astral travel. Involuntary or spontaneous astral travel can be triggered as the result of inhibited soul life. Repression of emotions and the suppression of one’s gifts can lead to a restless desire to experience subtle bodies through movement.
Some learn to leave their body during childhood to escape the pain of a harsh condition or event. Illness, accidents, abuse, traumas, near death, shock, extreme fear, or emotional and psychological disturbances are often the catalyst for an out-of-body experience. Consciousness energy leaves the body in a search to satisfy the thirst for connection to divine love in another dimension where movement is free of the physical body. Certain methods can induce spontaneous astral projection, such as the use of mind-altering drugs, deprivation of food and water, lucid dreaming, or a ritualistic process.
Astral travel has been described by ancient cultures as a forum for twilight learning. Overcoming the fear of death by experiencing the consciousness outside the physical body can bring a sense of peace. Deep healing and cellular cleansing are more likely to occur during astral travel. When consciousness energy leaves the body for an extended period, physical matter can decay, resulting in death. Those who have developed the gift for intentional astral travel know this to be an inherent danger. Shamans would often use a method that would guarantee their safe return into the body.
Express your gifts, Communicate your emotions. Speak from your heart. Connect with divine love regularly through prayer, meditation, or connection to nature. Trust in the life process. Manage your stress. Release your pain. Remember who you are and why you came to Earth. Expansion of consciousness can occur with divinity.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!

wanting, like riding a roller coaster compared to mowing the lawn.”
