Well, it’s not really a law (tee tee). All of us live under certain inescapable truths with regard to this physical incarnation. Everyone gets to make choices based on their free will. The choices we make must determine our destiny in some way, but also be limiting in others according to the current set of circumstances. Sometimes we think that we have no choice, which makes me wonder if during those times we are simply missing out on something important.
According to Dan Millman, we are both burdened and blessed by the great responsibility of free will – the power of choice. Our future and destiny are determined, in large part, by the choices we make now. We cannot always control our circumstances, but we can and do choose our response to whatever may arise. Reclaiming the power of choice, we find the courage to live fully in the world. You can make choices through your heart and intuitive wisdom, or through fears, reactions, and habits.
With making decisions, I am always searching for that one perfect choice made in a drive to create happiness in the best interest for all concerned. Over the years, I have discovered that the body is the perfect barometer, always available to give you the sense or feeling that the decision is the perfect choice. Whether that comes from the heart, the gut, or the head, it always seems like something I can trust and something I question at the same time. Perhaps that’s a little thing we call discernment. Let’s get a whisper on the Law of Choices:
Three-dimensional existence makes standing still impossible, for the world is in constant movement. Stillness can be achieved in some form, but never maintained. Action will always be required as part of the evolution of the spirit, which never sleeps. Consciousness can never be held in a static state, which means choices are determined with regard to flow of energy. Choices are the actions created to maintain movement with regard to core vibrations.
To create the highest level of discernment around the choice with any decision, one could reflect on the questions “Will this choice undermine love in any form?”, “Who or what will be served by this decision?”, “What are the consequences of such actions?”, “Will I be nourished in any way by making this choice?”
The Universal Laws dictate a reaction based in polarities. This is referred to as cause and effect. With every action there is an inescapable truth that must follow, which will always be perceived as the current reality. When choices are based in love, there is truth. When choices are base in hatred, there is separation. When choices are based in fear, there is instability. When choices are based in anger, there is a compromise of will. When choices are based in sadness, there is a loss of heart. When decisions are based in joy, there is fulfillment. When choices are based in courage, there is divinity. When choices are based in deception, there is karma.
The Law of Choices guarantees that destiny will be experienced out of the free-will choices that create actions. The power of discernment comes from listening to the whispers of your heart, following intuitive wisdom, using strategies for the best possible outcome, and moving away from any commitment that is void of love.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
