Some of us are always trying to make sense out this game we call Life. Pondering the existential questions around our very existence places us on the edge every day. I often stand on the precipice of the great divide between creation and pre-creation (tee hee). That edge may exist in the space between metaphysics and science, or logic and reason.
People use faith to find meaning in life with the saying ‘Everything happens for a reason’. That’s another way of saying it must be God’s Will. These phrases are generally used to explain away negative events. How could we live in faith if we can’t explain how bad things happen to good people? If logic and reason cannot explain my life, where will my metaphysical impulses take me? I have a creative mind asking questions to satisfy those impulses. So much of life involves the intuitive response to instinctual urges. The edge is what defines a space between what can be explained and what cannot.
We all know that life is fragile. To offset this reality, we must find ways to understand more about conscious living. What makes that search beautiful is the fact we all have access to intuition. I have an entire toolbox filled with the senses that keep me on the edge. Purpose doesn’t need to find a place if we are experiencing love at the highest level. We can intuit information that moves us beyond rational thinking or scientific explanation. That might be an awakening or, at the very least, we have moved beyond the edge into the full mystery. Speaking of mystery, let’s listen for a whisper on the edge:
One’s need to understand is highly motivational, but the point of acceptance is where peace begins to unfold. Most aspects that give meaning are beyond the conceptual framework of science and logic. Human life cannot be explained in a way that satisfies the existential questions of existence. Humans have reached levels of intelligence and are living in the Age of the Mind. Many things can be explained using a traditional area of study, but the expanding Universe brings new questions daily. Things happen according to several factors with one dominant feature. Life finds a way to survive and thrive. Energies merge to create streaming vibrations with independent movement. The result is subtle influences on direction and flow.
For the soul seeking enlightenment, freedom from attachment is manifested by reaching higher states of consciousness. This is part of the dismantling of ego that eliminates the desire for logical explanations. There is a knowing that brings understanding to the mind. There is a more mysterious form of knowing that comes from the heart. Love explains the greater meaning of life when free from ego judgment.
Trauma will influence the ego to form judgment in an attempt to control the environment. The subtle energy behind control is fear and resistance due to emotional attachment. Beliefs must be maintained by the ego mind to avoid disruption to control. Detachment from reality creates distortion in the human energy field. Healing brings acceptance that opens the mind to all possibilities. Infinite love is found beyond the control that defines an edge or imposed limitation. Once immersed in this mysterious field of dreams, the soul remembers crossing the great void.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
