I am constantly fascinated by the compelling stories of those brave enough to confess their deepest secrets. Each person holds a perspective of life based on their experiences and beliefs. Some of those experiences can include an emotional response that seems irrational or inappropriate. A person says something that creates a misunderstanding, and suddenly the body becomes filled with tension. The mind reacts so quickly, we can’t seem to follow it consciously.
The emotions of fear, anxiety, panic, frustration, and anger explode in an episode referred to as emotional flooding. The difference between emotional flooding and an everyday emotional experience is the speed and magnitude of the emotional release. During such an episode, the nervous system is overwhelmed and control is lost. The trigger is usually created by how one perceives what the other is saying or doing. Usually a person believes they are being attacked or in some form of danger in a way that creates a physiological response.
What if emotional flooding is occurring regularly? What if the person is generally at peace the majority of the time? I know the emotional gates have opened on me before (tee hee). What can be done to balance the emotions if flooding occurs frequently? Questions are stacking up, which means it’s time for some emotional flooding in the form of love from an angel.
Every emotion carries a distinct vibrational frequency. When that vibration is delivered with force, the energy can dominate all other vibrations. The resulting release of energy may be challenging to control. Insecurities can magnify any perception that triggers such a release. Emotional energy takes form based on past experiences that may have produced the original response. The triggers can often be traced to childhood or beyond this lifetime.
By stepping back to become a conscious observer, separation from anything that may trigger such a response can be more effectively managed. Pausing before reacting could add a measure of control. Asking for more clarification on what is being said offers the greater ability to communicate more effectively and with a better understanding. Noticing body language and the spirit behind the communication can help avoid inappropriate reactions.
It’s easy to become overwhelmed in the emotionally stimulated environment presented by the Earth realm. Extreme emotional response can serve to teach and instill balance over time. In order to experience balance within relationships, it can become necessary to change the conditions by enforcing healthy boundaries based in wellness. Perception of life as neither good nor bad leads to greater tolerance, acceptance, peace, and love.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
