Science and philosophy can provide key answers to our human spiritual experience. These two overlapping areas of study can bring great insights to expansion of human energy. Understanding how things work helps me tap into the mystical side of life. In order to survive in a world of uncertainty, we develop mechanisms that create the illusion of safety. Filtration experts believe access to unconscious material occurs when neurological and psychological valves open. One theory developed by Aldous Huxley describes a reduction valve in the mind. It’s like looking at life through a small window. A force of habit is to deny ourselves an experience due to an abundance of caution. Fear embellishes the entire experience when exposed to a world where we have very little control. In an attempt to make life predictable, possibilities presented by uncertainty are eliminated. But creating a safe haven free from surprises is losing touch with the present moment.
Instead of tapping into the enormous power of uncertainty, we run away using filters. Huxley declared we squeeze our mind through the reduction valve like squeezing a water main to a trickle. That trickle is human energy being held back from expansion. The irony is that expansion is what connects our consciousness to the world and opens the door to the mystical (tee hee). In an attempt to feel safe, we lose something precious. Let’s listen together for something valuable with a whisper on filtration:
Uncertainty nurtures creativity, discovery, beauty, love, and new energy. It opens the door to infinite possibilities within your field of consciousness. Embracing uncertainty is a way of dismantling the filters placed by fears of the unknown. Reducing options into small, manageable decisions is a denial of the whole life experience.
Attunement to reality gives rise to the power of uncertainty. Trusting the experience of wholeness is expanding consciousness. Taking off the blinders is what opens awareness to the bigger picture. Living in fear of the future by holding onto memories of the past is not a reality that can be touched. Filtration reduces the reach of a soul seeking enlightenment.
Life without uncertainty isn’t for humans. Avoiding the unpredictable is contrary to a natural existence. An attempt to control and put everything in order through filtration is creating a destiny of self-induced limitation. Higher education comes from the courage to explore the unknown without limits. Simplicity is the mantra of an enlightened being who embraces their own unique journey.
The true journey begins with taking each step toward greater awareness. An honest approach to the reality found in each moment is the goal. Allowing life to flow through you communicates something important to the Universe. It’s a message of love and trust that life itself is yours for the living. Despite challenges, you have developed the trust and character needed to meet the present moment. Fear is a natural and beneficial emotion. Know that fear offers you the choice of expansion or contraction.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
