I spent the week in the Central Mountains of New Mexico giving our Casa Angeles some much needed TLC in the form of a new deck. The nature setting is as close to my idea of heaven as I could imagine. A seasonal creek runs across the front of mountain cabin surrounded by ancient pines and the Lincoln National Forest. I was meeting my friend Justin and we were going to replace the deck we use for stargazing and enjoying the wildlife that meander the back slope.
Beckie and I were debating the choice between myself tackling the project to save some of the cost, or using a contractor. My guidance came in the form of whisper that said it would be good for the soul. So I went with that premise that propelled me into one of the most challenging weeks of my life. Almost everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong. The mental and physical challenges started to wear on me after a few short days, and in the midst of the experience emerged some unprocessed grief around the loss of my mother. I spent GG’s birthday and Mother’s Day for the first time since her passing, learning some very hard lessons.
Justin and I drove to the top of the Sierra Blanca Mountain to honer her life on her birthday. We enjoyed the incredibly expansive view and beauty of the area. I came face to face with a wolf on her birthday! In the end, I was beaten, bruised, scarred, and broken down mentally, physically, and spiritually. I guess the experience provided the opportunity for growth that most extreme challenges offer (tee hee). It remains an odd feeling when guidance is interpreted as either good or bad, depending on the outcome. Without a doubt, I will remember this week for the rest of my life. Let’s get a whisper on guidance and lessons:
The soul chooses to come to the Earth as the realm of testing. Through the extremes offered when incarnating into a three-dimensional environment, the soul finds a way to not only measure itself, but to find a means for growth. The journey is an individual expression formed by patterns that represent a synthesis of the vibrations found in all experiences. The soul patterns create a magnetic call and response to the Universe that draws lessons. The vibrations attained from this lifetime determine the position a soul will ascend after each incarnation.
Each experience is drawn from the soul template created prior to this lifetime. The soul yearns to attain higher levels of consciousness, knowing the position attained in the afterlife is part of the journey back home. While some souls are resting during this incarnation, others will get to work in this lifetime. When guidance supports movement in a certain direction, the purest source offering direction is fully aware of the content of the individual soul template.
The soul is more influenced by patterns than experiences. When patterns are perceived as negative or positive, the daily choices often reflect the perspective. The Earthly human incarnation is the great changer of soul patterns, but change does not occur under conditions that are void of spiritual or emotional content. Accept the lessons and every experience without judgment as either good nor bad. Live life under the conscious awareness that a higher vibration is offered in an experience that changes soul patterns. The return to sovereignty is the path illuminated by the light of love.
