We humans are unique in many ways. One of the most profound motivators in life is our human desire. It’s part of our basic nature to long for something greater than ourselves. Ultimately it’s the search for love that drives us to find a connection with God or the source of love in the Universe. Feeling safety can lead to high levels of creative expression. Belonging to a community can boost self-esteem. Knowing that you matter in the world can lead to self-actualization.
Remember when you were a child and chosen to be on a team? The feeling of inclusion is a strong human desire. Rejection, which is the opposite of inclusion, is one of the most intensely personal fears. People crave human touch. Life-force energy rises when connected by physical touch. Any time we experience touch, we share love. The feeling of connection is a reminder of who we are, why we came, and what we seek.
Cravings from the soul perspective are less tangible. To understand desires hidden in the subconscious takes some spiritual focus. The willingness go deep within is linked to soul desires. Not everyone seeks to grow and develop in this lifetime, which keeps life interesting (tee hee). We are different despite sharing the same desires. My desire to learn and grow has led me to a spiritual practice that I call Angel Whispers. It’s time for one now on the subject of human desire:
The soul seeks growth through energetic fulfillment. A desire for purpose connects the drive to become the person you know you are. From a deep desire to experience abundance comes the desire for means. Money, health, and security support a prosperous life of being able to serve. Satisfying the craving for beauty, intimacy, and love involves seeking human pleasure. The goal is release from the cycle of rebirth.
Through human cravings and desires comes the potential to understand life. To witness how the ego influences desires is one step toward a major achievement. Release from the human paradox around desire is the aim of the soul. Through the acceptance of human nature comes release from unhealthy attachments. Understanding and acceptance bring forgiveness, which is love taking energetic form. Love is peaceful by nature. The ego’s answer to cravings is chaotic.
Any over-assertion of self creates an output that can never be in balance to the input. Cravings help measure energy through self-awareness. When ego energy manifests as anxiety or discomfort, a divine light shines through the darkness. Illumination of self brings the opportunity to align with core vibrations.
One of the greatest abilities for human development is discernment. Acting like a filter on the lens of the heart, knowledge and self-compassion lead to higher levels of transformation. Self-actualization is a creative process of managing needs to organize the energy of desire. Balanced responsibility is the highest form of self-love, where peace is found in the heart. Recognition of integrity manifesting within builds self-esteem to end cycles of negative behavior.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
