Angel Whispers – Impending Doom

Personality types who are intuitive feelers by nature often get a sense of what might be coming from just over the horizon. When that feeling brings a notion of impending doom, an uncomfortable sensation can be evoked. You want to trust your instincts, but who wants to feel the gloom and doom? (tee hee) A deeper look at this type of experience might reveal that the uncanny sense could be more of a symptom than true prophecy.

What type of energy could influence such thoughts and feelings? Your impending feeling of doom could be related to the uncertainty in the world, anxiety, exposure to toxins, PTSD, being unable to “settle down” (as in stomach fire energy), feeling discouraged, a sense of urgency, suppression of gifts, or even astral projection. If a person is already believing they live beneath a dark cloud, it might be a challenge to break free of the notion of impending doom.

Physiology may play into the feeling as well. When there is disharmony in the body, the sense of impending doom can represent a deep-seated fear. Let’s say you are being placed on a medication or getting a diagnosis. The entire mind, body, and spirit are now tasked with processing the new information. A feeling of something unseen can bring unwanted emotions around awareness. Let’s work on awareness from a whisper on the feeling of impending doom:

The feeling of impending doom is a reaction to a perceived threat occurring on some level of consciousness. A person’s mind, body, and spirit can assess a threat from a subtle awareness that others might not recognize. Uncertainty, like that currently imposed on the collective consciousness, creates a vibration that some would naturally heed as a warning.

Feelings of impending doom have resided in the human’s consciousness since the beginning of their existence, as the species has struggled to survive several extinctions. The survival mechanism acts like a radar to alert one to possible danger. Whether the threat is real and directed toward an individual or an entire group can be barely distinguishable. What matters is the ability to address the internal signal and make an honest assessment of a potential threat.

Many suppress their gifts and numb their emotions to avoid psychological disturbances. One consequence to such a pattern could be ungrounding or a destabilized energy field. Ungrounded human energy cannot easily assess a threat, while traumas from the past could obscure the vision coming forth with the feeling of impending doom.

The human body communicates loud and clear when there is an attentive listener with an inquisitive mind and a curious spirit. If one is feeling impending doom, awaken the senses to give more information and follow the thread that illuminates your truth. Alarms go off inside for a reason, even if it turns out to be a silly one. Don’t ignore your emotional reality. Instead, treat your emotions like a trusted friend who just appeared to communicate a message.

Love will light the way to find the answer to any question.

Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
