The exploration of our inner life can be a lifelong process of discovery. The inner self is what some might call the soul. It’s natural to see the outer world in ways that inhibit knowing our inner self. Until we fully integrate balanced growth from the lessons and experiences of life, it’s challenging to truly know what resides inside the consciousness of our human existence. Perhaps we can catch a glimpse at our inner life by observing our way of being in the world today?
Stirrings from an unknown place deep inside can compel us toward experiences with an unseen force and a mystery that cannot be explained. But those inclinations can be observed with awareness as a step toward understanding the self. I’m talking out loud here at thirty-four thousand feet (according to the pilot on the intercom). From a psychological position, neuroses could be an indication of displaced soul life, which is consistent with the stares from the people who turned around to look at the guy with headphones speaking about the soul (tee hee).
So does that mean all I have to do is notice my compulsive and impulsive behaviors to know more about my inner life? That sound easy enough! All we need to do is grow some self-awareness around our inner self. A thorough process like that begins with mindfulness and a whisper from a divine pilot on the subject of inner life:
Your inner life is built around a structure of radiant light with independent features that move with expansion and contraction. Unhealthy attachments create limiting thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes that form contractions. Release from attachments creates openness, curiosity, and freedom that create expansion. Life offers experiences that lead to learning and growth, the arc of the emerging soul and the basis for enlightenment.
Patterns passed down through the generations form an imprint on the spirit, as do life experiences. Imprints on the soul are like fossils that represent a remnant of the structures from the past generations, past lives, and past experiences. Each incarnation bonds the spirit to the structure of the eternal soul, creating unique characteristics that become an influence on expressions of life.
Every individual has a master inside, or a part of them that is the observer. This part does not react or respond; it simply sees from an elevated perspective. The lower energies pull downward and away from the master. The upward movement of light lifts the energy to awaken the master. Your master within is an avatar of a new age in human evolution, waiting for the seed of light that will awaken the giant.
To experience the outer world from a place of peace, first look inside to find the master within in order to learn from the observer. The path is clear and includes taking measures that lead to greater self-awareness and self-realization. Live in a way that calms the spirit by shining a light on your inner life, then let your purpose find you.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
“From the standpoint of daily life, however, there is one thing we do know: that we are here for the sake of each other – above all for those upon whose smile and well-being our own happiness depends, and also for the countless unknown souls with whose fate we are connected by a bond of sympathy. Many times a day I realize how much my own outer and inner life is built upon the labors of my fellow men, both living and dead, and how earnestly I must exert myself in order to give in return as much as I have received.”
