There’s nothing like chestnuts roasting on the open fire, unless you are getting burned. (tee tee) The alignment of the planets in our solar system have been delivering a lot of fire energy the entire year, just ask our friends in California. Around the beginning of December, we entered a Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius, which was like adding tanker truck full of gasoline onto the flames of passion. Most of my month has been talking clients off the ledge, or asking why they aren’t out standing on a ledge somewhere. (LOL)
Seriously, 2017 has been a year of constant recalibration as we all had to make adjustments to the fast moving parts that make up our lives. As we move to complete the year, we get one more dose of the flames to propel us in the holidays. The current energy supports following the fire of our passion to fulfill dreams, to push through the obstacles, and to do whatever is necessary to manifest under the worst communication paradigms imaginable.
Taking a journey is in order, whether to a location or making a path through the internal landscape of the soul. Stepping outside our comfort zone seems inevitable, so we might as well go for it. Stop dancing around the fire and jump right into the flames, to allow the Joan of Arc inside to surface with newfound courage and determination. Let’s get a whisper on the subject of the fire in the energy to close out the year:
Fire energy relates to passion, so everything one is passionate about will be illuminated at this time. A process of short periods of awakening is possible during this period, along with sudden jolts of large awakening as anything in the shadow swept up into the light. The fire provides the light to see what lies in the darkness, or on the path ahead. Even a small glimpse into the shadow self will give ample opportunities for a sudden rise of the energy within.
Taking a pilgrimage is powerful medicine for the soul during the last of the year, and even short sabbaticals will yield positive results. Staying mindful will temper the thoughts and situations that bring opportunity to lose ground in the fast paced environment. Like a train speeding out of control, the urge to jump might lead to making some regretful decisions. Stabilizing the energy under the current energies, may seem challenging, but facing those challenges with grace and ease is a sign of mindfulness.
It’s important to maintain focus on the basics until the end of year. Getting plenty of rest, eating with good nutrition, daydreaming, being grateful, and finding ways to stay present in the moment, finding joyful activities help with stabilizing the flow of life-force energy within. As the year winds down, any pilgrimage or journey will serve as a way to take inventory in preparation for the new energies offered for the new year.
Among the greatest gifts of life, is the ability to connect with one’s self at the deepest levels to experience expansion of consciousness. Releasing the limitations created by the mind allowing the soul to take flight toward the direction of dreams, can bring the freedom to be authentic, vibrant, kind, loyal, and experience the virtues that align with individual core consciousness. Love the moment to see the light inside, in order to connect with eternal flame of love.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
“They say a good love is one that sits you down, gives you a drink of water, and pats you on top of the head. But I say a good love is one that casts you into the wind, sets you ablaze, makes you burn through the skies and ignite the night like a phoenix; the kind that cuts you loose like a wildfire and you can't stop running simply because you keep on burning everything that you touch! I say that's a good love; one that burns and flies, and you run with it!” C.JoyBell
