Here’s a shout-out to Jesse for sending the information that inspired this week’s whisper. Throughout my life I have held a focus and determination that keeps me in the game. At times, the behavior has cost me. You might say I have a hard time letting go once I have committed. Whether it’s an investment of time, treasure, or talent, a magnetic energy holds me in place. The key to unlock success just doesn’t fit.
Many sensitive people have the same challenge. Perhaps this is all about my specific human design, but I get the sense this issue affects many. Keys are the metaphor that describes how I keep searching for the lock. Even when it’s clear my key won’t open the lock, I insist on trying over and over again (tee hee). The lock could be a person, an activity, a dream, or an investment. That key may slide into the lock, but in some cases will not open the door, no matter how hard I try!
I’m not sure if it’s a lack of awareness or refusal to accept reality. It could be mental games that occupy my mind space to create a distraction from the truth. Another explanation is my determined focus, like blinders that don’t allow me see the reality. If it’s karma, I can rest assured there is a blind spot. Whatever the reason, how can I have the greater awareness to move on once my key doesn’t fit? I hope to find an angel with a lock for my key to open the door for a whisper on keys:
Life can be a process of elimination. Some will never know their key fits the lock if they refuse to engage with the process. It’s not that you made the wrong decision to stick with a commitment. It’s more that the decision took you to a place of greater discernment. Staying in a place longer than necessary doesn’t make it a mistake. But what is the truth? Some will stay after school to finish their lesson, ensuring they retain information.
Many will never find the lock their key fits because of their unwillingness to try. Others will look in every direction to find more locks than they need. A balanced approach is the lesson from living on the edge of the extreme. It’s okay to recognize the relationship, the job, or the investment isn’t working out. The truth will set you free to forgive yourself and let go of any attachment to the outcome.
Energy is a resource that requires a practical approach to life. When you come out of the mystery into the reality, grounding is occurring. Clarity offers a reality that can be hard to accept, which is the sign that realization is occurring. Re-evaluating a decision in the middle of a process feels like over-thinking. Remember that discernment through intuition takes many forms. The whispers from spirit don’t always appear as direct communication. Awareness of the gentle nudges telling you the key doesn’t fit, comes with maturity and growth.
Look at those moments where your key didn’t fit not as a failure or waste of time, but rather an opportunity for freedom. In order for the true self to express creatively, the false self must be acknowledged. Walk in faith that every experience holds value. Every relationship creates a memory. Every investment builds strength of character. Every situation breathes love.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
