The more I know, the more I realize all the things I don’t know. Take personal evolution, for example. I can think of myself as having a higher level of conscious awareness. Given all the spiritual work I’ve done, it only stands to reason. But the reality is that I can hardly determine my own personal level of evolution. That’s where orientation comes in.
Orientation means to determine a position relative to someone or something. It’s about having discernment around who you are and what you’re doing. Your level of personal evolution should determine your level of self-awareness. Right? But once again, how do I know what I can’t know? (tee hee)
By writing these whispers, I get to read how I think and feel. It’s one reason why journaling can be so effective. Loss of orientation is a loss of awareness. Becoming aware of this loss tells me it’s time to re-engage with my immediate environment. Orientation in the critical areas of life involves enduring patterns. If I can see those patterns as destructive, I can create the leverage needed to make positive changes.
My individual approach to life should match my level of evolution. If this holds true, my behavior should match my level of self-awareness. Enough said; let’s get to the juicy part of the early morning hours. Together we can create a moment to hear the whispers from spirit:
Orientation demands an inquiry of the mind that leads to a deep level of self-examination. What are you trying to accomplish? If you can determine a goal and form a vision of the future, you create advanced notice of your position.
Consciousness works with intuition to know when something is wrong. The greater discernment may come from experimentation. Life can be a series of eliminations. That doesn’t mean what you did was wrong. Instead, it means you were searching for the position that most aligns with your mission on Earth. Experiences become the story of your life. Making perceived mistakes is part of living a great story. It’s about accepting how you project pure consciousness into the world.
Conscious awareness is self-correcting. If feel you something is wrong, that is the first step in taking responsibility. When that happens, the reality is that a character-building moment has occurred. You can now correct the direction of your life with confidence and clear focus. Your worldview will have the greatest impact on yourself and on humanity. The development of inner values will provide the key to your personal evolution.
Your conscious behavior gives strength to your species. Turning away from the traps of the outer world requires turning inward. Meditation followed by mediation is giving consciousness an education. That is where the journey of the soul is unaffected by materialism, power, and technology. Your greatest contribution to humanity is freedom from conflict. Let your freedom to experience compassion create a tide of energy. Flood the world with an ocean of love as the perfect orientation to shape reality.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
“Dreams are anchors of purpose that offer orientation amid turbulence, confusion, and emotional upheaval. By maintaining room for authentic thought, we prevent prejudice, dogma, and fear from hijacking imagination.”
