About half of my clients are Christians at various levels of devotion. My work with clients is non-denominational. I want to help people without imposing my belief, so I get to hear others describe their spiritual makeup. Some have given much thought to their spiritual beliefs, while others have never thought about expressing their spirituality in words.
Meditation is listening to God (or insert your name of a Higher Power here), and prayer is speaking to God. Angel Whispers are a little of both. I start out talking it over and end up listening to spirit in search of truth, understanding, and the power in communication. Power is defined as the ability to act or produce an effect. Prayer is defined as an address (such as a petition) to God or a god in word or thought. I encourage others to pray, and often hear a client’s prayers have been heard through the whispers of spirit.
This must be proof of the power in prayer! (tee hee) Today I am seeking to gain a greater understanding of the power of prayer. It’s time for a whisper:
The power of prayer unfolds in numerous ways. Love is the language of the Universe, and you join that stream of energy in a moment of contemplation followed by internal dialogue. In prayer, you join the collective consciousness to create a powerful message of love that is your heart song. The unification of hearts and minds is an influential tool in the process of life.
Healing comes when you loosen your grip on an aspect of life to surrender your concerns and worries. Prayer is an energy that leads to letting go, by giving away your burdens to lighten the load of emotional debris. In prayer, you discover something greater than the self to claim your authority and rightful place on Earth in a moment of communication.
Prayer without belief is meaningless mind chatter, which underscores the importance of knowing your spiritual connection. Digging deeper into your feelings, you discover changes needed to improve your conditions. Prayer is giving voice to change, establishing intentions, forming strategies, and creating actions that lead to greater realization and appreciation.
The compelling nature of engaging in prayer inspires the spirit within to awaken to higher levels of self-awareness. Prayer brings certainty to an uncertain life through clarity. Enliven your life with the power of prayer in a moment of communion and ascension leading to a higher place. In your dreams, you will find answers to your prayers and truth to your existence. In the twilight, knowledge and understanding form the bridge to a spiritual dimension filled with light.
Prayer gives rise to your spirit, lifting you up to join your ancestors in a dimension that is your true place among the stars. The power of prayer is the dynamic energy within you now. Do not let your most vital resources lie dormant in the shadows. Prayer illuminates.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
