A penumbral lunar eclipse occurred yesterday. Penumbral indicates a partial shadow surrounded by a perfect shadow. On this occasion, the perfect shadow was the result of a perfect alignment of the Earth, the Sun, and the Moon. The color created by this celestial event gave off an orange hue, which some referred to as a Blood Moon.
Cultures across the globe see this type of event through different lenses. The Incas and Mayans saw the moon being eaten by a jaguar. The ancient Chinese thought a dragon was eating the moon. To some cultures it was an omen of war, while to others a sign of good fortune. At any rate, it was an important event to us Earthlings (tee hee). This was the Scorpio Flower Lunar Eclipse, bringing with it the energy of rebirth. Some of us witnessed this event as a symbol of renewal from the heavens above. This new moon eclipse brings a promise of healing.
Renewal is an instance of resuming a prior state after an interruption. It is also repairing something broken or worn out. In modern psychology, self-renewal is a process of creative restructuring that follows a period of suffering or pain. Renewal can be a response to the struggle of life where a challenge facilitates the process. I’m sure we can all use some renewal from a whisper on the subject:
With a cosmic display of the power of light and dark, the lunar eclipse brings a message of renewal. What the energy brings is more than symbolism; it is a chance to reset the energy. Bringing the light down from the heavens to the Earth is a powerful synergy delivered between the pages of the book of your life.
Releasing negative energy in a moment of realization is an act of conscious letting go. Every soul seeks freedom through new beginnings and experiences. Personal growth is reinforced by the feelings of empowerment that follow a newfound unwillingness to carry a burden. Self-imposed rules can be re-examined to release the stress of misplaced determination. The ego mind will maintain incorrect thinking to avoid facing a limiting view in the current reality.
Transformation is illuminated on the path toward enlightenment, for there is clarity when facing the truth that leads you toward taking responsibility. Alignment with core vibrations is amplified by the profound awareness of understanding one’s life purpose. The eclipse carries the energy of alignment in cosmic harmony.
Reflection offers opportunity for deep inner healing through making insightful discoveries. The pull of such a lunar event heightens intuition to sense the subtle energies that surround you. They serve as a reminder of the exhilaration felt by the soul falling to Earth with an opportunity to experience massive growth.
Renewal comes from exploring the shadows, acknowledging those special people in your life, and feeling the gratitude that comes when you remember love. It is an embrace of the gift that each moment holds and the fulfillment that is part of the journey. Such remembrance is your connection to the divine power of love.
