Angel Whispers – Shaping

Donald Hoffman is a cognitive scientist and philosopher with a radical theory. In his book The Case Against Reality, time and space are not fundamental to the perception of reality. Our complex brains have simultaneously created a simplified version of life, along with shaping a projection of a complex reality. Perceptions are optimized so that we humans can survive and reproduce.

A conscious agent takes action based on experiences. This is how we interact with our reality. It is not a passive view, but an active pursuit in search of meaning. We live in a world that operates under the belief that life is pre-determined under fixed laws. What if reality is constantly being shaped by a network of conscious agents? Is the sky blue because of my experience, or has that belief been influenced by everyone telling me it’s blue? (tee hee)

By challenging my beliefs, is it possible to cultivate a more individual perception of reality? Adjusting my preconceptions means I can find greater alignment through innovation and diversity. With a clear purpose, I can achieve my goals, optimize performance, and expand my vision. In doing so, I will make better decisions to experience greater success. With these thoughts I turn to a whisper on the subject of shaping reality:

Shaping means to give form. To shape reality, you must first strive for an environment that is safe and supportive. Core vibrations elevate operational frequencies in a stable environment. Adding light to perception is a process that shapes reality. Harsh experiences leave a lasting impression. Some can influence the formation of a negative bias. Freedom from systematic distortion involves reversing the negative effects of past intense experiences.

Observation of thoughts and beliefs can be used to measure rigid conclusions. A perception of reality that life is not predetermined can dissolve rigid viewpoints. An atheist can be without focus around any part of their Self connected to God, yet their emotions can demonstrate a connection to spirit. Some will have no focus on their enlightened Self. The lack of focus on parts of the Self is a major factor in shaping reality.

Everyone has an aspect of Self that is enlightened. Enlightenment removes confusion to bring clarity. Gathering information that leads to understanding and spiritual insight requires an open mind. It also means cultivating tolerance of alternative positions. Eyes are closed to things you do not want to see or accept, leaving you uninformed at times.

Progression is the hallmark of a changing world. Breaking free of negative programming is accomplished by adding light. The search for meaning in life is the active pursuit of enlightenment. Moving away from rigid beliefs is movement toward hope. By shining the light of truth into your consciousness, new insights lead to greater self-awareness. Shaping a positive reality is the choice available in every moment.

Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
