The word ‘wind’ came to me when asking about this week’s whisper. Of course, the wind was really blowing hard outside at the time. Was the message subliminal? (tee hee) Subliminal means below the threshold of stimulation. It’s something that affects the mind without conscious awareness. There is a function occurring that is inadequate to produce perception. Instead of marketing, I’m leaning toward other forms of subliminal messaging. The idea makes me think about the subtle realms. If something is subliminal, can it be from spirit?
Perception without process can be a mystical experience. You don’t know the source of the information or the feeling. Studies have shown subliminal perception activates memory and emotional regulation. New research indicates subliminal images can change behavior and brain activity. According to the National Institutes of Health, subliminal manipulation is harmless. The typical effect can disappear within a second. The information is not stored when unfamiliar. If we can relate or feel good about the information, a binding effect occurs.
Rapid encoding into long-term memory depends on consciousness. A type of processing can occur in the subconscious to influence decision-making. Subliminal messages are then stored in the unconscious mind for future use. This is especially true if the information is familiar or resonates. The brain can ignore the information, but the idea has been delivered. Speaking of delivery, it’s time for a whisper on the subject of subliminal:
Subliminal communication is unique in the way it does not engage the will or ego. An energy hidden from direct communication can be positive or negative. Juxtaposition occurs when the negative evokes a contrasting positive response. The result for an inspired moment. An energy below the conscious threshold is outside the boundary of mental limitations. New thought patterns emerge when boundaries aren’t processed in the same manner.
Subliminal information doesn’t decay when there’s a connection within fields of consciousness. From the hidden realms, a portal has opened to deliver energy. Encoding occurs with indirect processing of memories, dreams, and experiences. The release of energy from a direct experience requires replacement energy. When seeking spiritual growth, messaging from the hidden realms presents that opportunity. What was holding a space gives way to a higher vibration as the new placeholder. In an instant, the subliminal can become the sublime.
A new attitude or perspective emerges from an elevated awareness. Knowledge becomes wisdom when the boundaries of human energy experience expansion. The Earth’s magnetic domain operates under a Universal law of wave-particle duality. One will often experience contraction as a negative response. What follows is an expansion beyond a previous threshold. One dip into the darkness provides the disturbance that transfers subliminal information. A change in direction toward your most natural state is a subliminal experience. It’s a movement toward love, unless the will or the ego dictates an opposing response.
The mystery is where the mind crosses the void to engage the soul in search of understanding life and lessons of love.
