Why would a tiger keep showing up? I’ve grown accustomed to skunks, possums, and hawks, but tigers? I do love spirit animals and their messaging. It all started when a friend reached out to vent their frustration. A family reunion, the narcissist uncle, a lengthy road trip, and a general resistance was the theme. The entire time I’m reading his message, the tiger is in my face.
It struck me that his power animal had turned to me because my friend wasn’t listening. So I became the messenger, hoping he wasn’t going to shoot me! I was compelled to remind him of his warrior spirit and courageous heart. The message was to overcome his unpredictable nature. Avoid making a snap decision he might soon regret. Forget about going to New York as a plan to escape the clutches of his family reunion in Texas. His destiny may not lie in the urge to avoid those who might become abusive.
It can be challenging to know your place in the lives of friends and families. Leaving room for the possibility he should avoid the reunion was also part of tiger message. Trust your instincts on this one, but know what your heart is trying say. The tiger message is also about protection. So I couldn’t discount my friend’s desire to put up a wall between him and the family reunion. In the end, I did what you might do as well. I sent a meme (tee hee). I nudged him to listen to the whispers of his heart. That means it’s time we do the same with a whisper from the Tiger we can all appreciate:
Animal spirits are great messengers, for they are free from ego and karma. They have a pure essence and grounded presence. The tiger embodies power, strength, and courage. This spirit guides with an uncanny ability to overcome obstacles. They are quick-witted creatures that adapt quickly to change. Free thinkers with well-developed instincts, they do not second guess. Tigers are decisive and fearless by nature.
The animal spirit message of the tiger is multi-layered, much like your friend. A tiger has control over emotions with an ability to remain calm in tense situations. Not backing down, the tiger stands up to embrace the moment. With a leadership quality, the tiger asks for nothing less from its human counterpart.
As the ultimate archetype, the tiger is a great teacher. As a symbol of hope, the tiger can inspire the best traits to be revealed. Even when vulnerable, the tiger finds power in uncertainty. This solitary creature can teach independence and freedom. The true escape is from the feeling of being trapped. Whatever is happening, the tiger teaches movement through difficulty with silent grace. Persistence becomes the mantra for success with those who carry the tiger energy.
Earth energies are such that every human is guided by their connection to animals. Spirit helpers appear when the soul cries out for help. The tiger speaks a Universal language as the symbol for nations to find unity. Co-existence between cultures is the larger message of the tiger. Allow the burst of energy from your heart to find connection to the hearts of others. Seek to understand your inner tiger.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
