When I asked what the subject was for this week’s whisper, I heard Who Am I? The comic inside answered with Don’t you know? (tee hee). It was moments later I was speaking to a friend who posed the same question to themselves. That was my confirmation. Admittedly, I can be a bit of a chameleon when it comes to my identity. I can be anything you want me to be. In doing so, it’s easy to lose myself in the mix.
Those on the spiritual path are often searching for the answer to the question Who Am I. Sensitive and empathetic people often lack clarity due to self-doubt and insecurity. Is it a question we can even answer with any sense of clarity? There is the person we think we are. Then there is the person we want to be. Last, there is the reality of the true spirit we embody. During one of my greatest moments of awakening, I caught a glimpse of the person who seemed to be the real me. Perhaps the person I am is never seen, since we are transient beings in constant movement and change.
We are more than the roles we play and the qualities we express. The complexity of the human experience may ultimately tell us it’s impossible to know the answer. I’m sure any level of understanding is found deep within the space between the heart and the soul. Let’s look for answers in that space as we join together for a whisper on the question of Who Am I?:
The glimpses of self are observable in moments when light creates a mirror. Illumination becomes a undeniable force of nature that captures your true essence. At a soul level, remembrance is emitted in a vibration that aligns with the core. In a moment of stability, who you are takes form to answer the question.
By nature, an evolving being cannot remain static for long periods. Life is a complex and creative process that fills the vibrations of a non-linear timeline. The past, the present, and the future become a stream of energy unified by consciousness. Leaving the bond of the lower energies illuminates the higher self. Elevated into the void, the mystery tells the story of a journey into the unknown. You are living that story which defines the spirit to answer the question.
You are a traveler on a journey without end. The search for love is your quest. Your guide is an avatar that lives within your heart. Your destiny is shaped by the hidden laws of the Universe. It’s easy to get lost in fear and to believe there is something wrong. The voice that speaks will know nothing unless it comes from your heart. Your power is the inner strength of courage that gives you the ability to act. Courage is the gift that will help you face the defining moments of life on earth.
There will be never be an absence of fear as there is always a sense of survival. Courage springs forward out of an obligation to live up to a standard connected to core values.. It is a characteristic known only to the heart. Courage defines the limited state of identity as it relates to the growth of self-awareness. Courage and strength are the benchmarks for expansion of consciousness. To know courage is to open your heart, which is the only way to know love.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
