Sensitive people, many of whom are intuitive introverts, are here to learn and grow by expressing themselves through communication. It can be a challenge to speak your mind to another person, especially if there is fear around their response. One of the best ways to express is through writing in a journal or diary. The word originates from the Old French journal (meaning “daily”) and may refer to several things such as a nail record, a diary, a logbook, or a transaction.
Our lives are special journeys of seeking, learning, healing, loving, and experiencing life. Life is a spiritual journey that denotes movement and travel on a destined pathway. We can travel in our mind and heart without even leaving home (tee hee). It takes a lot of courage to embark on a journey into the unknown parts of ourselves. Journaling is one of the best ways to make discoveries through the story of our life.
Most people get stuck writing because they see it as an exercise or a chore. If you can speak or think, you can write. There are no rules to your writing unless you impose them. Writing our story strengthens our connection to angels and to divine love. What do you think I have been writing the whispers for all these years! As I write these words, I feel an angel coming in close for a whisper on Why Journal?:
Each day is an opportunity to learn from that which develops from your experiences. The spirit is not ready-made. Instead it is a self-made work of art. It is crafted one day at a time to match the soul template created at birth. As you strive to become a better person, your soul experiences light in the form of oscillating frequencies. Vibrations are the language of the universe and music to the soul. You are the architect of that structure of light which holds the heart, grows the spirit, and tends the soul.
Journaling is a personal account of your spiritual journey. As you write, you find an opportunity to discover the truth of your existence and the answers to the questions that are without verbal answers. Your story is a love story waiting to be told. Journaling helps you find the love in every experience. In between the lines, you can discover the hidden blessing in harsh experience, a life lesson vital to your evolution, and a divine love that may have seemed more distant.
When you write, you slow down your breathing in a release of anxiety because you are expressing a truth. You may have shared with your angels a deep secret about yourself. You purge, release, and purify your essence every time you write. Journaling is creating your legacy by documenting your spiritual journey and giving you courage to go farther into the unknown. Writing is you agreeing to be vulnerable, which teaches receiving with an open heart. When you journal, you are setting your spirit free, and freedom is what you seek.
To journal is to see where you have been in order to know where you are going. Like a ship at sea, you find your bearings in the logbook of your soul. Journaling is calibrating your compass that helps point you in the right direction. Journal to understand life, to forgive yourself, to find acceptance without conditions, to let go of burdens, and to fall in love with your life. Journaling is love expressed in the journey instead of always looking for the destination.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
“Write to be seen and to find love. YOUR story is the greatest love story ever told.
Why not see what’s there when you peel back the cover of the book you are writing?” Russell Forsyth
