One great thing about social media is the ease of connecting with old friends. I was fortunate to connect with one of my best friends from elementary school, who wrote, “When we are calling on our Angels to help us, is there a ‘protocol’ that we should follow when connecting with them, or do we merely need to state what our intent and desires are and ask them to provide us with the assistance that we need to successfully complete our desired results? I hope you'll consider this in one of your whispers in the near future.”
Thanks for the whisper suggestion, Gary, and this feels like perfect timing for the subject as we leave behind the old year and begin anew. With the new year comes new energy, and this year is a leap year to boot. The year 2016 offers an energy around completion, and for those who are ambitious, success is at your door. This is the year of the monkey in Chinese tradition, so you might want be flexible and ready to pivot in any situation.
A simple request, or asking, opens free will and allows the angels to co-create with you. Setting goals, establishing intentions, tuning in to your visions and dreams, releasing control energy, watching for signs, and moving forward fearlessly with your best self act to further your connection with the angelic guides. Let’s engage with a whisper on angelic protocol:
Angels, guides, masters, and any high vibrational being will not usurp free will, for that would only serve to undermine the experiences and lessons each individual is attracting. Once a certain level of surrender is reached with regard to free will, guides, masters, and angels can communicate in a free flow of energy. Focused intention will serve to help with your goals.
Daydreaming is an easy way to communicate with the angelic realm. Listening for messages that come in the form of feelings, thoughts, other people, memories, dreams, imagining, or simply knowing is how you receive consultation from the other dimensions. There is no hidden agenda, and if that appears from the spirit realm, this is your indication that ego is involved.
Your guides are there to light the path of love, so trust your instincts and keep the process playful. Repetition, signs, and the feeling of coincidence mark the communication in order to help you with trusting divine prescriptions for happiness and success. If you try to outline the way things will work, you are engaging in control energy. Sometime there is something much better than you can imagine, so remain open. The best way to receive messages is to practice living in the moment, by cleansing your past and refusing to place too much energy in the future.
Follow the light that illuminates love and you will be using the protocol of the angels. Pure love connects to your true essence and allows for the layers of your identity to fall away from your energy, opening the door to your heart. Don’t let your mind over-analyze or remove you from the whispers of your own heart. You are living in a unique time, when humans will evolve to fully enter the heart space. Being present in the moment crosses all boundaries between you and your angels.
