Illumination can be described as a state of being with a spiritual or intellectual focus on enlightenment. Sounds like a big goal to me! (tee hee) I’m at a place in my spiritual development that tells me that in order to experience an awakening, the conditions have to be just right. Our ability to perform a task that requires the right level of light might come down to conditioning and the ability to create an environment that leads to greater self-awareness.
We must have enough light to reflect enough illumination that we can clearly see the truth of our existence and the meaning of our lives. I believe we must produce light to reflect enough light in the world to have any chance of enlightenment. It’s easy to search the planet for light in the people, the plants, the animals, and the landscape, only to find it was inside of us the entire time. What are the conditions that allow for such a realization?
When I ask that question, I hear the answers begin with creative thinking. Under the conditions of today’s world, we must be creative to find the solutions to complex problems. The best story we will ever write for ourselves will come from inspiration that leads to a creative spark. Convergent abilities are used to bring together divergent ideas and production that are not guided by rules or convention. We can create unique conditions and opportunities for growth and development from a single spark of light. Let’s create some stillness to allow the whisper to bring more light on the subject of illumination.
Preparation plays a major role in the awakening energy and the illumination of spirit. Without full realization, you are constantly preparing for the moment of your greatest realizations. The soul is a collector of experiences, emotions, and materials needed to create. Although many will get discouraged on the illuminated path, seeing the big picture will help with the patience needed to accept that things may not be moving at the desired pace. The flow of energy matches the journey of the soul, not the workings of the outer world.
Once the information is collected, there is a period of incubation. A constant flow of ideas can interfere with the solutions that will create optimal conditions for illumination, allowing the energy to leak and the solution to fade. Time is always needed for the unconscious mind to process the collection of information. Routine activities are grounding and allow for a smooth integration of inspired thoughts and creative solutions to manifest.
Illumination occurs once the preparation, and the incubation, are complete. What was once obscure is now clear. The realization comes with a burst of energy and a synergy of body, mind, and spirit. All systems agree because the light inside has been reflected to the outer world. The vibrations have risen to the surface, and cooperation of the body, mind, and spirit has created a more powerful effect through unity of all systems.
The solution to creating the optimal conditions is now a realization, but there is still a need to verify. Verification is the final stage of illumination. One must know the information is correct. Evaluation will bring satisfaction or the need for more creativity in order to modify the actions. With illuminated light, love is the condition that attracts more love for life on Earth.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
“We awaken by asking the right questions. We awaken when we see knowledge being spread that goes against our own personal experiences. We awaken when we see popular opinion being wrong but accepted as being right, and what is right being pushed as being wrong. We awaken by seeking answers in corners that are not popular. And we awaken by turning on the light inside when everything outside feels dark.”
