Some people are almost impossible to read. Others don’t communicate well. For someone who loves real conversation, this type of person leaves me guessing. I have no choice but to start making it up (tee hee). During the dark-night period of my life, I noticed the tendency to create fantastic stories in my mind.
As a sensitive person, I was finding ways to cope when I didn’t know my place. I would use the fanciful stories to justify my actions and, in some way, my very existence. If the twisted tale was a story of rejection, I would withdraw into the corners of my mind. When the story was that the person wouldn’t believe me, I could alter my beliefs for acceptance. It was the story in my head that prevented me from full creative expression. Such a realization forced me to look at my conditioning.
Every day we are creating the story of our lives. You and I are the storytellers with a soundtrack for the soul. How do we live a great story if we are making up mental distortions to play it safe? False narratives feel like playing it small. Speaking the truth without embellishment became the change in my life. To this day, I still rely on self-awareness of my tendency to make things up. Instead of making it up, let’s join together and listen for a whisper on the subject:
Everyone is crafting the music of their life through storytelling. Your heart is always looking for a fix to make things smooth. The story of your life aligns with reality through the use of instinct and intuition. If your mental story is a distortion of reality, ego is at work. Knowing the difference takes a high level of self-awareness. Change requires leverage.
Everyone has the opportunity to awaken the senses to create the true story of their journey. The highest level of creative expression comes from a heart opened by the truth. Taking responsibility for a life committed to love is the greatest act of courage. One must walk through the dark night to find the lantern that will light the path walked in faith.
Having a foundation on which to stand is essential to the full creative expression of self. A grounded, practical, and secure approach forms the most stable energy field. Every moment makes a contribution to the story. Every detail plays a part. An accurate vision of reality regulates emotions around uncertainty. The subtle nuances of life refine every experience.
The smallest brush strokes create the masterpiece that has not yet taken form. There is always a blind spot to your life becoming a work of art. With perseverance comes a state of mind that operates with clarity and confidence. Communication puts you in position to express a love that can amend conflict. Observe the past as the opportunity to understand the people in your life. Avoid passing judgment on the future to better understand each moment in life. Balance is the key to adaptation.
Making up stories requires no apology, for it is the way you learn and grow in a world that is unpredictable. Consider your feelings by letting go of the opinion of others.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
