How do I become the best me? The first thing that comes to mind is the need to get out of my own way! To achieve optimal performance, I need to know when I’m the block that is holding me back. My own spiritual studies help me understand the defining factors of optimizing performance. Whether it is business or creative pursuits, I’m always evaluating my performance. That’s part of being an optimizer! (tee hee)
To claim that title is more than admitting a subtle influence on my personality. My need to optimize performance in the game of life is connected to the desire to be the best me. Sensitive people do not want to let anyone down, so they tend to try harder whenever trying hard wasn’t enough. An optimizer My need to optimize performance in the game of life is connected to the desire to be the best me. An optimizer labors over decisions, because there simply can’t be a wrong choice.
My own human design informs me that disappointment will block my success. It’s easy to be disheartened in a harsh world where what you desire seems to fall short of expectations. The ego will use the energy of desire against me to make sure I know all the things I’m doing wrong. Moving toward love should be peaceful. My direction can feel otherwise with all that ego energy disturbing my spirit. Optimal performance gets kicked to the curb and I’m left with something called feelings (ha ha). Before I get in the way, let’s get a whisper on success, performance, and what it means to be an optimizer.
Reaching high levels of performance depends on an individual’s state of functioning. There is a complexity to the operational mechanics of being human. Three components will determine optimization of human energy movement. Cognitive development that allows for greater learning and understanding is a major factor. Open channels of intuition that lead to innovation and a willingness to adapt are the second. The third is emotional functioning, which is subjective to health and wellbeing. The body, mind, and spirit must be in a state of equilibrium to reach optimal function.
The pursuit of excellence will depend on human energy reinforced by external sources. Acknowledgment comes from success experienced with community. A feeling of fulfillment leads to satisfaction and holistic, positive emotional states. Inner strength and resilience become the antidote for negative feelings. Everyone will face negativity with the obstacles of living on Earth. Holding negative energy will counter motivation.
To optimize performance, one must go through the intricate process of alignment with achievement. Patience is the virtue that leads to ultimate mastery. Take goal-directed actions within a framework of the intended outcome. Keeping the vision of your future is a central aspect of optimal performance. A sense of being on the guided path will bring happiness connected to personal growth.
Even within failure is a seed of light that can grow into something beautiful. Poor performance will never feel optimal. When faced with obvious redirection, take that as a sign to look below the surface. Beneath the plane of the physical dimension, you will find what is hidden from the light. Emerging from the darkness is often the greatest step toward the best you.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
