In our last whisper we explored the Higher Self, which can be characterized as the center of our being. It’s the central consciousness moderator of the soul, spirit, heart, mind, and body. Several responded to that whisper with observations and more questions. This is a common theme in my life – I answer one important question, only to end up with several more (tee hee). Writing about the Higher Self made one thing clear. This is a subject that is hard to cover in a one-page blog article! The suggestion from Martha was to look further at the Oversoul.
Many believe that the Higher Self, the Soul, the Spirit, Atman, Monad, the Oversoul, etc. are all the same thing. The whisper last week seemed to communicate they are not. Something else I have heard is that the Higher Self is a reference to an old soul. Perhaps only an enlightened being can define or understand the true meaning. Until I reach that status, I am resigned to explore these terms in a conceptual framework.
Maybe it would help to know where the Higher Self and Oversoul exist. Once again, some say the Higher Self is located between the Pineal and the Pituitary. That would place it somewhere between the seat of the soul and our Christ Consciousness center. We all have strings that pull on us. Our Higher Self pulls toward life experiences. The spirit pulls toward personality and characteristics. One’s soul pulls toward evolution. The Oversoul pulls toward unity. Not sure where all of that that came from, which indicates we are already in a whisper on the subject:
The definition of Oversoul can be more easily understood in terms using dimension. Oversoul is at the highest point of your multidimensional bodies. This is where the spark of light from the seat of creation touches your essence. A source of consciousness that unites every fractal to one energy is the essence of the Oversoul.
At the upper levels of your composite self is an energy responsible for your existence. It is not a separate feature, nor is it one with all systems. Rather, the Oversoul is exists within two simultaneous realities. The bridge between Heaven and Earth is where you will find this part of your being. The Oversoul is an open portal to an expanded Universe and the gateway to the physical body.
If you lifted a drop of water from the ocean into the cup of your hand, would that drop fail to be part of the ocean? The drop is still part of the ocean, because it remembers its true origin. One drop, though removed from the whole, feels the connection to oceanic energy. It can still recognize love as unity.
Because you’re a sentient energetic being, a part of you can move beyond perception into knowing. You seek to explain what you already know. You thirst to feel what you have already endured. You long to prove what is beyond your imagination. Your drive is to access the source of your remembrance. You were pulled from a spark of light by a desire to learn and grow. Your Oversoul is your ocean, and your life is a single drop pulled from the comfort of unity. The shape of water is as undefined as the Oversoul. Obscured by the subtle dimensions, the lack of form will influence your greatest level of creative expression.
