When I use the word reframing, I am not talking about taking an old painting off the wall and giving it a new border (tee hee). Today’s whisper is more about cognitive reframing and follows last week’s on adversity. The idea behind reframing is that a person’s point of view depends on the frame they choose to hold in the way they perceive life or an event. When the frame is shifted, or we think about something from a unique perspective, the meaning changes. At the same time, thinking and behavior have an opportunity to pivot in a new, positive direction.
You can tell a lot about a person and where they are at this moment by their tone. Tone can include vocal inflection, body language, attitudes, and demeanor. Cognitive reframing plays a large role in the treatment world, as therapists help others look at their challenges in a different light. People seek out intuitive readers to hear messages from spirit that help with reframing.
Some practitioners help others with moving energy through mental and emotional blocks which inhibit vitality. Especially in 2020, we are all looking not only for good vibes to help us deal with adversity, but to thrive in all areas of life. Let’s get some reframing done today with a whisper from the loving light we call angels:
Resilience results from reframing. When you can look at life through a variety of lenses, one can live and thrive in a world filled with adversity. The way you see yourself and communicate who you are will determine the overall quality of your life. Slipping into thoughts that run a defeating program that communicates ‘I am cursed’, ‘something’s wrong with me’, or ‘I’m so unlucky’, develops a mindset over time that penetrates the soul to form a core belief and establishes vibration. Your energy moves in and around your core vision of who you are and why you are here. Negative thoughts feed the negative energy that steals your vitality.
Reframing is intentional and deliberate shifting, despite the fact that the situation will not change. The change in perspective is feeding the spirit energy that sustains forward movement to toward the solutions and strategies designed to lift the soul into its Higher Self. Ask yourself ‘what would my angels say about this?’ Then notice the thoughts and feelings that follow.
Spiritual bypassing can occur with forced positivity. Genuine hope comes from the spirit, not just the mind. Reframing is replacing the darkness with light, activating a different way of being in the world. Inflammation of thoughts provokes the mind, body, and spirit to create an uneasy sense of being. Whenever you feel overwhelmed or flooded by emotions, remember to take a few deep breaths and pause to gain clarity, to give space for a positive shift to occur.
Breaking down the problems is a transformation in the beginning stages. It is laying down your armor to express yourself with the vulnerability brought on by challenging circumstances. Reframing is not denial, rather active participation in the opportunity being created in a moment where the blessing may be hidden from view. Seeking the blessing restores faith.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
