Belief is a word filled that can be filled with light, and weapon is surrounded by darkness. Almost every household in America contains a weapon, which is defined as a means of gaining an advantage or defending oneself in a conflict or contest. Once a round (words of a belief used as ammunition) is chambered (mouth), a shift occurs, and a weaponized belief is actualized. Transcendence into the world of action and intent has begun.
Belief is the foundation of who we are and the critical element of success. Mistakes, overcorrections, underestimation, and faulty assumptions are markers along the path of our current civilization. Weaponized entitlement has become routine in the counterarguments to racism, politics, and the virus. Weaponized belief is when a person’s belief becomes a tool used to gain power, control, or authority. An aggressive form of spreading darkness occurs when one chooses to dismiss the beliefs of others by claiming an opinion that has become rigid, righteous, sanctimonious, and indignant. Roles are assigned in a way that forces the actor to remain true to using the weaponized belief.
But can the same approach be used to bring light? Can we use words in today’s world to bring unity and resolve conflict? Is there a light at the end of the tunnel that is not a train? (tee hee) Too many questions building, which means it’s time to turn toward the warriors of the living light for some impression that brings understanding to a weaponized belief:
Humans have been involved in power struggles since they emerged on the planet. Conflict can be used to gain power when the weapon is a belief. Defending a belief is usually a call to action that triggers a response. When you have a cause around which people have gathered to express their support, then create a narrative that satisfies a goal or critical element, you gain some measure of influence over a group of people.
Authority figures are rarely questioned once the individual gives them power over their mind with the use of a shared belief. Spiritual growth and enlightenment move the individual beyond the need for primitive measures during a power struggle. Devolving into egocentric methods of aggression, people who stir propaganda with passion while providing a motivating stimulus easily influence the target of their manipulation. Beliefs form unhealthy attachments, which can lead to issues of control.
Compassion is the willingness and ability to rise above a conflict to see all sides of an issue. Fairness is achieved when the majority agree to drop any agenda that runs counter to the good of the people. With unity, the possibilities expand with human consciousness, for where there is constructive collaboration, there is hope. Where there is violence, there is more violence. Like energies will always attract.
With issues that involve light and dark, the balance is found by an intent to remain in the gray. Equality brings the balance that leads to peace. Truth is the great equalizer, and love is the glue that bonds the two. Every person is responsible for examining their beliefs to discover what lives in the shadow of fear and what thrives in the light of the heart.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!

“Attitudes and ignorance” about (any type of) abuse can be passed down through the generations. It is important to our healing that we sort out the belief systems we adopt; belief systems that were taught to us and because they are so full of lies, they lead to all kinds of depressions, addictions and other struggles while we try to cope with the manifestations of the problems instead of the roots of the problems.”
