A worldview is a construct formed by making assumptions of a physical and social reality. Each individual makes their own comprehensive model. The result has a powerful effect on cognition and behavior. The worldview construct is one of the most studied in trying to understand human psyche. Why? you ask. Because it directly impacts the human experience. My perception of the world will define the relationship I have with the world and vice versa.
The way I feel, think, and perceive the world will influence how I articulate my life experience. If all I see is a world in chaos and without meaning, I will fill my psyche with such expressions. A structure around my life is created as a product of my world view. Questioning my place in the world brings up the issue of unity. Do I belong here or do I simply exist in the belief that once I die, I never want to return to this Earth? I’m sure every deep question leads back to my childhood and how my life began. (tee hee)
It seems very clear in this moment that my perspective on life is the driving force in my own evolution. I could take the existential approach rooted in cultural anthropology. Or I could choose to look at the world through a philosophical lens. The view from ontology and what animates life is one of my favorites as well. But this seems to call for a whisper on the subject of worldview:
Primal energy is at work with your worldview. Good versus evil, positive or negative, and safe or dangerous are examples for primal feelings of the world. A person’s hope, spirituality, gratitude, and curiosity are strong connections to positive primal characteristics. With the worldview, awareness at every level of consciousness is in question. The total operation of mind, body, and spirit is defined by the scope of human nature in this area of perception.
Your higher self is the part of you that knows right from wrong. Your true identity as a soul is unchanging in the depth of your being. Your true self pulls toward the light of growth, evolution, and wanting more from your existence. Memories are often distorted by intense experience, trauma, and the resulting karma. They play a crucial role in personal evolution.
Patterns of behavior established in childhood will contribute to your worldview. Tendencies will develop the traits and characteristics that lead to perception. Patterns can be altered by conscious perspectives on reality. Working that reality is the dharma you have been assigned. Otherwise, you would not have come here at this time and place.
Existence is never without meaning. To uphold a better life, your worldview must be based in reality. By your very existence, you have evolution on your side. There is a light that lives inside your awareness which can heal the past. Infinite possibilities surround you in this moment. See the love and beauty in the world to understand your place in promoting the true meaning of life.
Connect with your true self and feel the value inherent with your existence. Positive change in the world begins with your influence in the collective consciousness of the human spirit.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
