While at the car wash this weekend, I stopped for a moment to observe my surroundings. It was Veterans Day, and I was reminded of my father’s passing 14 years earlier. As I looked around, it occurred to me how much the world he knew had changed. The woman across from me had been sitting in her car the entire time I was there. She was looking at her phone. The man next to me had a towel in one hand, looking at his phone in the other. I realized about 20 people at the car wash were looking at their phone. Where’s my phone? I wondered….not (tee hee).
For those of us interested in personal growth, fulfilling our mission on Earth depends on our level of maturity. Anxiety is one of the most constant issues I see with my clients. All ages will experience less anxiety when there is an adult in the room. Adulting is hard, but we desperately need this from each other. A lot of acting out stems from a place of neediness. With maturity comes consistency. When we have consistency, we have wellness.
My behavior will take me farther from wellness or bring me closer. It’s about showing up and being powerful, which means I can be trusted. Trust and confidence can help me assure others I can face the complexity of the world. Maturity means I’m living my purpose because I’m acting in accordance with my values. That’s only possible when living out the lessons I have learned in life. With maturity, I am working my energy in the positive. Let’s all be mature and listen for a whisper from spirit on the subject:
With maturity comes the ability to make better judgments. This leads to accessing your deepest wisdom. Cause and effect come into question when it comes to the complex story you are living. Condition leads to an ingrained response and thought process. Over-stimulated mental activity supports the feeling of anxiety. Impulsive words and actions are automatic when you’re unable to break the unhealthy mental patterns imbued by the past.
There is a part of you that existed prior to the formation of the physical body. It is the true building block of the lower etheric body. Trauma can be held in this part of the energy. When an imbalance is present, you can compromise your own will. By forcing yourself into actions that go against your core, a negative bond is created. A bond between the lower and higher etheric body usually stems from trauma. Abuse of self and from others leaves a lasting imprint.
Balance and release from the pattern of a destructive response to life depends on maturity. It is the greatest leverage you can use to create true healing energy. Maturity lifts a person into their higher self to break the bond to the lower energies. Virtues are cultivated to match values when unencumbered by the effects of past experiences. Trust comes from maturity because it has been earned.
When living in alignment with purpose, love is felt and understood. Living a life devoted to wellness is living in a state of maturity. Tolerance, acceptance, openness, flexibility, and faith are points of reference when assessing your level of maturity.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
