One thing we can all count on is that change will happen, even if we resist! (tee hee) It’s funny how our human nature is to fear or resist change, as if we control the guaranteed movement. What that means is we are the managers of change – physically, mentally, and spiritually. My father had a saying he used to help manage change. “This too shall pass” was his heart song that he often expressed right up until his passing in 2009.
Today, I was dwelling on these words and their meaning. As best I can tell, they may have originated as a Persian adage. An Eastern monarch gave wise men the task of creating sentences which would be most appropriate for the times and situations. These words have been used for centuries to console and for chastening in our hour of pride. But can they help us during the good times, too? It surprised me to find that Abraham Lincoln used this saying in a speech before he became the 16th president. Lincoln is one of my distant cousins, so perhaps the phrase and its meaning are a tonic that flows through the family bloodline.
In my energy assessments, I am seeing some common threads with many people. Most that I have worked with have an imbalance in the root chakra (grounding, security, fears) and the Body of Love (see last week’s whisper). Perhaps it means the activities and the people we love are changing, which can leave us ungrounded. Or perhaps it is a sign of rebalancing occurring. Questions are mounting, and with a need for recalibration, let’s turn to a whisper:
Humans are not static; they are always adjusting to the external vibrations. This is one reason why consciousness has no fixed state. The Universe is like a fabric bonded by threads to create a beautiful tapestry. Each thread is a vibration woven into the entirety and plays a role like a drop in the ocean. The entire body might not notice one missing drop, but the strategy becomes rebalanced by replacing that drop with fresh water in the form of rain.
Humans now are faced with several new paradigms, and resistance to change could lead to incorrect thinking. There is no going back, so people are tasked with adaptation and acceptance. Humans are designed for adaptation and survival. People should consider managing their lives in a manner similar to managing their careers or businesses.
Awareness is the first stage of actual change, as a shift in consciousness represents a rebalancing and an extra pivot point appearing on the compass. Fear gates close with the emerging awareness, regardless of the complexity of the challenge. Without the fear vibration dominating, brilliant strategies are more likely to surface.
Rebalancing is realignment of individual core vibrations (internal) with Universal environmental entrainment (external). When opposing vibrations are brought to balance, peace will follow. The saying ‘This too shall pass’ is an energy management tool that can help with change. It serves as a reminder to have patience and to remain stable in the face of changing circumstances that are demanding attention. Everyone needs the occasional reminder to help them see the big picture as a form of remembrance. Remember who you are, and admire the outcome.
Bring joy, ease suffering and create beauty, then dance like you mean it!
Blessings, Russell
“Everybody goes through difficult times, but it is those who push through those difficult times who will eventually become successful in life. Don’t give up, because this too shall pass.”
